Open Arms was a central piece from the Allen Gallery "A Journey through Clay,' exhibition and residency.   Set against the backdrop of the world class Allen ceramics collection, this exhibition aimed to present clay and ceramics in an explorative way to provide context to the visitor of the journey that clay, the ceramicist and each piece goes through together.
 
Creating moments of personal reflection drawing upon my own personal experiences of grief and life events to show how we can also be shaped, and choose to change, adapt and thrive.  The exhibition provided visitors an opportunity to experience three key journeys through clay.

Where an item is described as functional it means that it can go in the dishwasher. However I recommend hand washing for all items.

An item described as purely decorative is not for use with food.
Shipping

Items are usually dispatched within 3 working days of your order being received, although may take longer during peak periods.

UK items are shipped using Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Service.

International Shipping

International parcels are sent on a tracked service. Please allow upto 20 days for delivery. As the UK is no longer being part of the EU, tax customs and administrative charges will apply. These charges are your responsibility and you will be contacted and required to pay the invoice before you can receive your parcel. I am not able to predict what these charges will be, therefore I suggest you contact your local customs office to understand what these charges may be before you place your order.

Breakages

I take great care when packaging up your order to make sure it reaches you in one piece. Unfortunately, breakages do sometimes occur. If your item arrives broken please photograph the item and email me at snowdropstudio1@gmail.co.uk, within two days of receiving it. I will arrange a replacement if possible, or a refund.

Returns

I really hope that you are happy with any piece that you purchase from me. However, if you are not, please contact me at hilda@hildacarrpottery.com within seven days of receiving your order and I will arrange a refund or an exchange where possible. Items must be returned to me in the same condition in which they were sent. I'm afraid I am not able to cover any of the postage costs. Any refund given will have the postage costs deducted. The parcel is the responsibility of the customer until it reaches me so please obtain proof of postage.
