The journey of my spring collection unfolds as a story of resilience and transformation, a poem to the emergence from the heavy embrace of winter. This collection captures the essence of survival through the storms of life, where each piece tells a story of strength forged through the healing process of grief. The designs, often hidden beneath with their intricate carvings, reflect the unseen depths of change and the silent battles fought in the shadows.
 
This collection started in the winter, literally and figuratively. Clay takes time to evolve as have the ideas behind this collection. They have been within me for many years and slowly just as spring shoots break the hard earth they have finally come to the surface. The deeper carvings of this piece signifies the wintering period, a time marked by a life less superficial and perfect. It was carving in this stillness that the gift of grief revealed layers of emotion and understanding.
